Xu Xiaobin, a well-known writer, national first-class screenwriter, painter, and paper-cutting artist. She has published literary works since 1981. The main works include Feathered Serpent, Dream of Dunhuang, Princess Deling, Pisces Constellation, and so on. Her books are collected in the National Library of the United States, Harvard University, Yale University, Columbia University, etc. In 2014, she was selected as “Famous Asian Female Writer” by the Library of Congress of the USA. She has won the first National Lu Xun Literature Award, the first and third National Women’s Literature Awards, the 8th National Book Award, the First Prize of the 2nd Canadian Chinese Literature Award Novel Award, and the 2015 British PEN Literature Award. Her book Feathered Serpent was the first Chinese work included in the international publishing plan of Simon & Schuster, a world-renowned publishing house. Some of her works have been translated into English, French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Norwegian, Brazil, Greece, Arabic and other languages ​​and distributed overseas.
