China – Liang Hong

Liang Hong, Doctor of Literature and professor of the School of Liberal Arts in Renmin University of China. She is dedicated to the study of modern and contemporary Chinese literature, and the study of the relationship between rural literature and rural China. Her works include novels Leaving Liangzhuang Village, China in Liangzhuang Village, Holy Family, etc.; academic works Huanghua Moss and Saponaria saponaria-On the Central Plains Five Writers, New Enlightenment Discourse Construction: ‘Shouhuo’ and Literature and Society Since the 1990s, Notes from Other Provinces: Henan Literature in the 20th Century, The Fading of ‘Aura’: The Evolution of Contemporary Literary Narrative Aesthetics, and so on. She has won the “Essayist of the Year” at the 11th Chinese Literature Media Award and the 2013 “Chinese Jiaozi Youth Leader” by Southern People Weekly.
