I’m such an older man now who likes to spend my time by the window. To be honest, sometimes I feel like I’ve never done anything else in my life. When I look back on times gone by, I see myself getting older behind window panes. It is then as if I were walking past a building with lots of small windows and behind every pane I could see myself at different ages. As a child I looked out when it annoyed me to be a child, as a teenager I looked out when it annoyed me to be a teenager, and so on. I turned my back on the life inside the house and always turned to the outside world.
