Austria – Clemens J. Setz

 

Clemens J. Setz, born in 1982, studied mathematics and German at the University of Graz in Austria. He has been publishing novels and short stories since 2007. Most recently, ‘The Bees and the Invisible’ was published by Suhrkamp-Verlag. In 2021 he was awarded the prestigious Georg Büchner Prize for his novel ‘Indigo’. ‘Indigo’ and his story collection ‘Die Liebe zur Zeit des Mahlstädter Kindes’ will soon be released in China by CITIC Press and ‘Indigo’ will be translated by Li Shuangzhi.
