China – Fei Dao

 

Fei Dao is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Tsinghua University. He has been published academically in journals such as Science Fiction Studies, Literary Review. His book “Modernity and the Unknown:Research on Late Qing Science Fiction” was published in 2021 by the Peking University Press. He also pursues his interest in writing science fiction. He is the author of short story collections The Storytelling Robot (《讲故事的机器人》), Chinese Scifi Blockbusters (《中国科幻大片》), and The Long Journey to Death (《去死的漫漫旅途》). Works translated into English by Ken Liu include “The Robot Who Liked to Tell Tall Tales”,  ” Legend of the Giant“.
